The group's name, BTS, stands for the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan (Korean: 방탄소년단), literally meaning "Bulletproof Boy Scouts". According to member J-Hope, the name signifies the group's desire "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets".

The group's name is "BTS" when written in English. This is a short-term word. The full name in Korean is 'Bang Tan Sonyeondan'. It also means 'BulleTproof BoyS'. However, it is now used as a "Beyond The Scene" for many years. 

The meaning of ARMY

The name "ARMY" means army. However, "ARMY" is also famous as the name of BTS's fan club.

The original meaning of "ARMY" is "Adorable Representative M.C for Youth". It is "ARMY" to say this word short. 

This means "a lovely representative for youth."

Jimin meaning is 'ability reaches to the sky' 

But in Google is 'my wisdom will reach higher than a sky' 

This is only doubt that related to jimin.

My interpretation is BTS is telling THEIR story as korean artists in the industry. 

Jin in the middle of war: When they began as KPOP idols, it was a battlefield. They were competing with many artists and idol companies.

Jimin with the drummer boy: They were young, unarmed, basically going into the field on entertainment without enough experience or a huge company backing them up.

Taehyung's scene with the girl: They were crucified by the industry and although they had the army with them they kept the darkness/struggles to themselves and the army was unaware of such (hence the girl was blindfolded)

RM Noah's ark: But they believed in themselves and their leade. RM was leading them on this journey.

Jin with the cages: They are all in a cage, bound to their contract, their status in the entertainment world. 

JK with Thorned handcuffs: They plan to escape their status. To break free. But as they do, there was alot of trials and struggles ahead.

JHope's scene: The future, the death of JK. The past is done they are now focused on their future.

Suga's cult: They built an ARMY, dedicated followers with almost cult like behavior.

JK's scene: He is reborn and free. Now he calls out the the others to gather and unite. 

Dance break: They fought their haters, with ARMY behind them.

The group altogether heading to pride rock: They are have successfully ended their journey and is now beginning a new one

As much as I’m fascinated at how Bookish Theories unpack all of these things, I’m really fascinated at how BTS kept telling us that our journey to discovering and embracing our ownselves is eternal and they’ve managed to do it in different ways and in different eras. The level of BTS’ artistry is outstanding. They literally never fail to blow me away.
