At a press conference on the day, Lima expressed her feelings that she was "so happy" to be competing in the Red and White Family Games and that she wanted to "make a lot of memories."

Mako said, "I will try to share maya (who did not attend the press conference due to poor body condition) Miihi (who is resting due to poor condition)" and "I am very nervous, but I will work hard."

JYP said on Thursday that NiziU was named to the cast of the 71st Hong-White Competition, which airs on NHK on The 31st of next month.

NiziU is a girl group created by JYP Entertainment and Japan's Sony Music through the Nizi Project, a large-sized global audition held last year. A total of nine Japanese members were made up of Mako, Riku, Lima, Rio, Maya, Miihi, Mayuka, Ayaka, and Nina.

NiziU will debut with his first single Step and a Step on February 2, and will enter the Red and White League 29 days after his debut. It broke the record for Japanese group WaT, which appeared on the program in 2005, just one month and 29 days after its debut in 15 years.

Despite making his full debut in December, NiziU appeared in the Red and White Family Festival when his free debut song Make You Happy, released in June, became a big hit in Japan.

The album, written and composed by JYP head Park Jin-young, has enjoyed explosive popularity in the region, with the album taking first place on various music platforms in Japan within three days of its release.

The song's music video has received more than 150 million Views on YouTube, and the choreography "Skipping Dance" is also a hot topic in Japan.

NiziU said, "I'm so happy to be decorating the red-and-white competition for the end of 2020, when there were so many new challenges," and said, "It's one of the goals I dreamed of preparing the singer for, so I was thrilled when I first heard about the show, and I burst into tears."

The Hongbaye Festival is japan's most prestigious music festival, a program East Sea and white teams of popular singers to perform and fight. Local interest is high, with an average viewership of more than 40%.

NHK announced the list of performers for the 71st Red And White Conference on the afternoon of The 16th. The Red And White Family Festival is a year-end music broadcast program broadcast by NHK on December 31, and the year-end music program attracts many popular singers from Japan.

NiziU is a nine-man group created by JYP and Japan's Sony Music through the Audition Program "Niji Project" in Japan. Japanese participants have enjoyed high popularity since their debut, when they were selected as a nine-man girl group through systematic K-pop training at JYP headquarters.

NiziU, a new girl group from JYP Entertainment, will appear at the Year-End Music Festival "Red and White Ga Festival" hosted by Japan's public NHK broadcast.

Their free debut digital mini-album Make You Happy reached the top of the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Rankings, and the title track of the same name topped 100 million streaming on the Oricon charts for the first time in a group of women.

NiziU is said to be leading the fourth Korean way boom, with the tvN drama "The Un-Time of Love", which became very popular in Japan this year, and the 30 "Sour and Buzzword Awards" nominated in Japan this year.

NiziU, meanwhile, will release his official Japanese debut single Step and A Step on December 2. Written and composed by JYP head Park Jin-young, the title track of the same name
