BTS's most popular era - Activities of popular groups worldwide

K-pop superstars BTS had another amazing year in 2018. Along the way, they achieved many new things for K-pop music.

This year, BTS released the final two albums of their “Love Yourself” series. In May, they released “Tear,” and in August, they put out “Answer.” Amazingly, both albums hit Number 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart in the United States. They are the only Korean band to do this.

Also in August, BTS began their world tour. They are holding many concerts in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. They performed at large stadiums in Los Angeles, New York, and London. They became the first Korean group to play at these venues.

BTS made history in other ways, too. In September, the seven members went to New York to speak at the United Nations.* They helped to launch a new youth program for UNICEF.* There, BTS leader RM gave a passionate speech.

On top of all this, the group received numerous awards in the U.S. and Korea. Overall, 2018 was another memorable year for the Bangtan Boys.
